making a character move in a predefined angle

Now that it is easier to calculate the angle between 2 points I'm wondering... How the heck do you make the sprite move in that angle?

I figure that you set a speed for the character and then somehow tell it to apply it to the move in the angle necessary?

I can't really word this question any better because I have no idea how to, but I'm sure you guys understand what I mean.

Use the trigonomic functions of sine and cosine to find the proportion of x and y to the velocity.

I noticed that wyvern posted a "spacetest" example in the directory, maybe you could look at it.
