I don't really understant how to use TNT's Input commands. I kind of got the gist of it by the tutorial, but I kind of need help.

I tried to test it out by making a really simple code:

Load Input 128
Edit Input

... but the editing dialog did not appear. I'm sure the resource exists, and I even tried putting 'Activate Input' before edit input, and that didn't help.

Finally I tried pausing the game to try and configure controls from the menu, and the 'Configure Controls' option whas greyed out.

Could someone please help?

Hmm.... well, I think I've worked it out. 'Edit Input' doesn't seem to work under OS X... that's pretty annoying.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to make a custom one.

Why doesn't it say anywhere that Input commands don't work under X?

Yeah, we got a bit stung on the input side when Apple dropped Input Sprocket, as a result not many TNT Basic programs use our input commands. We hope to one day get something working on OS X, but surprisingly enough, not that many people have asked for it.

We do mention in the system requirements and a few other places that the input commands don't work on Mac OS X (http://www.tntbasic.com/learn/about/whatistb.php#sysrequire), but it's not massively publisised I guess.

Good luck!

Mark
