spriteworld 3 released!

I had emailed the tntbasic dev team about maybe using spriteworld in tntbasic a while back, but I couldn't find the version with hardware acceleration.

Well, it's out now for OS X and with 3D hardware acceleration. I was thinking that if it was used in tntbasice that maybe the engine would be a bit faster and parralax scrolling might become a possibility.

It's a free animation routine library intended for use in games written in C or C++ (can't remember which one).

So, what is the tntbasic's dev teams opinion on using spriteworld now that it has hardaware acceleration and fast non-hardware drawing too?

PS. this is not intended to be a negative comment on tntbasic, it's intended as a suggestion to meet peoples gripes with speed in tnt - nothing more.

...and now back to work on my game. :)

We'll certainly look at it, there's no guarantee it will be any faster than what we've already got but we won't ignore anything that could improve TNT Basic. Thanks for the heads-up.
