I am currently working on a simple animation editor for making game sprites. It is in early stages now, but stable enough to play with.

If anyone wants to kick the tires on it, it can be downloaded here.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated. Read the manual for directions. A sample sprite is included. My intent is to release this as freeware when it is functional enough.

I don't know if anyone took a look at it. There is a new version up which includes a sample file. It can now export frames to multiple picts, so you can just drag them into heiroglyph.

Check it out here.

It's a good start, but you will need more tools. Maybe a line tool, a choice of tool size, and other functions. I had a ClassOutOfBounds Exception exception with the fill tool. ( fill the space around the viking in black, then in white )

There is a forum for pixel artist (mostly guys interested in making graphics for games) that you might be able to get some good ideas from.

It's a great site, but the link above is the topic on art software. :)

Good luck!

And as always, thanks for helping us mac peeps out!!!!!

No, it wasn't. It is made in RB. I thought it might be helpful to people using TNT though.
