I know this issue has been asked a lot already, but none of the past threads I have searched have been answered.

I can't see any layers except the first, and opacity is always 100%, regardless of my settings. Is this because I am using a map viewport, or is it just that map layers and opacity have not been implemented yet?

Also, changing the order of the layers gives an alert box:
Exception code: 0
File: CLayersTable.cpp
Line: 243

I would appreciate an answer or a link to an answer :)

Thanks

I guess you misunderstood the meaning of "layers". You can use other layers for collision, for example, but not for parallax scrolling, or just 2-layer scrolling. If you want to show the two layers, you'll have to draw them one by one on a normal canvas if they move at the same speed, or use sprites instead of tiles if you want them to move at different speeds.
