baddie AI examples? and a code question...

Are there any example of enemy AI for a top-down game around that I can take a look at?

What is wrong with this piece of code? it tells me that it expected a numeric value in place of blvd (it has a number assigned to it already) in both versions of this line?

if difx=>blvd then bsight=bsight+1

if difx>blvd then bsight=bsight+1

It's a piece of a line of sight code for my baddies, but I just can't get it to work.

Try changing => to >=, maybe?

Man, now I feel really stupid... why didn't i think of that???

It seems to work though I'm missing some more (though not much) code and then I can test it.
