Hi

I was wondering if there was a way to make a movie in TNT basic.

I guess that depends on what you mean by movie. Obviously, TNT basic lets you create animations, which you can set to sound, so in that sense you can create small movies. If you want to play a movie in your game, say, between levels or when something special happens, you could use sprite animation to do so.

Or did you mean like creating an actual animated movie with TNT basic? Thats an interesting idea. I remember seeing some web sites a while back about doing that with mods for Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament... generating a 'movie' by using a game engine scripted to move actors around and do different things.

Are either of these what you meant? Or did you mean was there a way to play back movies? (I don't think so, but I could be wrong)

Stephen,

A little experimentation with the spelling on google provides this site: http://www.machinima.com/

Hope this helps you find what you're looking for.
