is it possible to have multiple layers displayed in a map viewport? I wanted to organise my map in to different layers. Layer 1 was the ocean, layer 2 is the land, layer 3 is reefs in the ocean etc.
Is this possible?

Also looking at the map commands like Map Tile ( x,y,z ) is z the layer ?

AFAIK you can only display one layer :(
And yes, Z is the layer.

If you want many layers, or even parallax, you'll have to use sprites as tiles. ( It wouldn't be too difficult for an experienced programmer )
