Back again ...

I have a program that looks and runs fine on my tower G4 and G3 under OSX and looks fine (but doesn't respond to the keyboard - see my other post) on my Ti Powerbook.

However, under OS 9 or Classic, on all systems, 24 bit colour pict files saved with Quicktime jpeg compression appeared as dithered 2 bit (black & white) images. Saving the images as .jpg files solves the problem (well, if you accept that going back and converting all of the images is not a problem).

Yuck!

The files were created, and the TNT program built, under OSX 10.2.4 Quicktime 6.1 and TNT 1.12

Have you run across this before, or do you have any ideas ?

Thanks,
Mark

What version of quicktime are you running on OS 9? Maybe it can't draw the jpeg from quicktime 6.1 properly?
