Currently trying to build an RPG engine with TNT. Has anyone attempted this? If so, hints/adivce/source would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, have currently got some fairly simple code for a sprite walking around in cardinal directions. I have a map with four layers, and want one layer ABOVE the PC sprite graphic. Is this possible? I'm a relative newbie, so the simpler the explaination, the better.

On a related note, can tiles in maps use transparencies? Also, opacity in map layers doesn't appear to work... enlightenment much appreciated. Thank you!
