One idea that might be nice to implement would be text-config-files. (Anyone who's done any probing of MS-DOS knows these.) Having a pane to add "Config to global conversions" in the build process might be nice.

Also, have you considered "Chunking" the runtime-module? (IE, runtime kernel, and then only add in the chunks needed. So someone using moan gets it bundled, someone else who doesn't has a smaller output?)

Anyway, I like working with it. Keep up the good work.

Hi William,

We have text file support in the latest version of TNT Basic, which I'm assembling the distribution of now. You could use this to contain your config settings if you wish - or any other data for that matter.

As for chunk loading, this is a long term aim of TNT Basic, Hieroglyph is very modular, with plug ins for each of the different data types that it supports, we want TNT Basic to be similarly modular, for exactly the reasons you suggest. It also makes it easier for us to maintain when in this form. One day....
