I'm new to TNTBasic and I've seen a couple of examples of particle engines and I was wondering if there's any way to make the particles grow brighter the more there are of them overlapping? I believe it's called additive color or something like that.

I've also heard that sprite scaling isn't supported yet. That would be a very useful feature.

Re: Particle Question

I'm assuming that since nobody has replyed to my question the answer is no or nobody knows how to do it.

Brighten your day

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the translucency used by TNT follows the rule of light interaction (additive colour theory) so ovelapping large amounts of translucent sprites should lead to white. Again, I'm not 100% on this... if this doesn't work simply start off with a very translucent sprite of a very bright colour.. It won't apear bright because it's so translucent, but overlapping these sprites will lead towards the original colour... which is bright!
