a random fluke?

my program ( a strange "screen saver" type art project )
crashed tonite for the first time...

something like:

Signal Raised
Condition: inLength == LeftSectionLength + Right... + mid...

Fuct: Blast CopyDoubleAllign
File: Blast Copy.C
Line #326

*** Runtime exception caught ***
Line# : 407
Code : copy canvas 0,random(0,640),random(0,480),random(0,640),random(0,480) to 0,random(0,640),random(0,480)
Error : Assertion failed.

you notice that that is a very random line...
My guess is that some really weird combination of the
random numbers did it?

Hi Franz,

What version of TNT Basic did you get this error from?

Same Problem

Hi, I got the same problem happening to me in 1.03.
It happens when you draw a sprite to a canvas and a view port peeks into the canvas, and when the sprite is cut by the view port but only on the sides, not the top and bottom aparently. I can send a little demo example if you'd like.

It was on 1.03.

It was on 1.03.

I don't remember it happening on earlier versions...

maybe it has something to do with the viewport
upgrades in the new version?

Fixed?

Just posted a patch to fix that bug, it was pretty quick to fix:

http://www.tntbasic.com/download/TNT_Basic_103M1_Patch.sit

Let me know if it works/doesn't work.

Thanks

Mark
