How do I time things to match particular frames ?
I want to use the frame number as a guide to update sprites and a time counter. Kind of like keyframes or trigger frames.

Thanks in advance.

Frame Counter

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to do but the easiest way to keep track of how many frames have passed is by increasing a separate counter after every draw frame command. e.g.

Draw Frame
gFrameCount=gFrameCount+1

You should be able to time things by using the gFrameCount variable then.
