Sorry, we listed the wrong key code for escape in the help centre. Escape has a key code of 53, space has 49, as listed.

So you can check with

spacepressed=pressed (49)

NB: You can't check for esc key presses anyway, because it will always pause your program when a user hits esc. If this is a problem let us know.

well i wanted to use the esc key to go back to the menu... i think its kind of a standard to use the esc key to get to the menu... but i also understand why you have chosen it to pause the program in tnt. but if someone could think of a better key in the tnt program and we could use the esc key that would be awsome.

I was wondering if there is a way to disable the escape key.

Also, is there a way to have TNT Basic always default to showing FPS when running programs?

Esc key disabling

Those are both on our list of things to do. We'll try and get them in shortly.
