I would like to help making (detailed)examples for the documentation/language reference.

It would certainly be more detailed than this:

int chicken
if chicken=5
....
end if

But I can only do this if Mark is here. When I do this I need to be able to send it to him.

Mark, are you here?

btw... That example was the exact same one that turned me off TNTbasic 2-3 years ago....

"omg, what do they expect me to do with "chicken"... screw that!"

I went to realbasic instead, learnt a great deal about variables, and came back to have a look, and found out many of the things are so similar.

I don't really have a lot of time to devote to maintenance of this site, and so hosting programming docs that are being frequently edited by others isn't really possible. I'll stick a PDF up if someone sends one in, but I don't want to be changing it every day!

A better solution would be if someone setup a wiki somewhere that the community could start creating tutorials on.

Cheers,

Mark

Like a Wikispace? That would be an easy way to allow the community to contribute examples.

An even better solution would be to have a wiki set up on this domain... I guess thats not possible...

"I guess thats not possible..."

technically, yes, but feasable, no, as Mark will probably never have the time to do it ;)

Well... You need good help files to attract new users in order to revive TNT basic....

Death?

No way, the only reason it will die is if you dont spread the good word, I already have two mates programming in it since I rediscovered a month back. One in particular likes it very much.
