Can a TNT compiled prog be called with parameters by an AppleScript?

i guess you can call a TNT app like any app if you know the AppleScript command to call an app. though what do you mean, with parameters? if you mean the same kind of parameteres you'd give an app on a command shell, i'm pretty sure you can't

Er... No.

TNT compiled apps are not IAC (Inter application communication) compliant, so there is no way of retrieving external arguments either from apple script or the command line. You would need to add a pair of system variables (similar to the 'timer' variable) to hold the argv argc parameters passed to main( ) (or C++ equivalent) in order to make them accessible from TNT code, but this would only (as far as I'm aware) open up the command line option. To get AppleScript support the runner engine would need to be made scriptable in order to receive and respond to external processes. There is actually a request for this type of system on the feature request list at sourceforge, it would definitely add to the usability...
