This was supposed to have been fixed in 1.3, are you sure you're not running an old version of TNT Basic by mistake?

How are you trying to get at it?

Are you using 'pressed(59)' or 'raw key modifier control'?

I'm using pressed(59).

Er, he's right Mark...

Pressed(59) doesn't work... But I'm trying this on a laptop (which has weird key mapping anyway). Can anyone with a standard Apple keyboard confirm this? Also, can anyone let me know if 'right control' works, don't have one on my board.

'until raw key modifier control(keyboard raw key)' works in conjunction with another key, but not on its own (so 'keyboard raw key' doesn't pick up just the mod keys...).

'until raw key scancode(keyboard raw key)=59' doesn't work either. This would seem to point towards the keyboard map being wrong (but only the evaluation of the scancode, not the key mask).

I'll take a look...

Standard keyboard - pressed(59) doesn't work - tried a dozen other keys and they were fine.

Cheers swagIT

It's now looking like the control key filter has been left on somewhere. I've tested the other modifier keys with the 'raw key modifier <key>' calls, and all report correctly with or without another key being pressed. Control reports correctly if pressed with another key, so the mask is correct, but it doesn't trigger a keyDown event on its own.

The control key is used as the right mouse toggle, coincidence? Do we need to fix it? And if we do fix it, will right mouse work? Should there be a call to switch the state of the control filter? Why don't Apple just provide two button mice? So many questions and so little time...

Er, Nods... TNT doesn't support right mouse.

Ah... Cheers Nods. Maybe I should read my own manual.

Might be an idea Nods...
