Is it possible to copy a canvas with all the sprites and everything in it. Almost like a screenshot?

When I tried a while back I was only able to take a picture of the map (none of the sprites show).

What i really want to do is take the canvas (sprites and all) and convert it into a sprite, so I can use it elsewhere at a different scale.

Well if its not a speed issue...
Just use the 'copy image' command, and set it to do your entire screen. This will copy your screen/canvas directly to an image bank.

O yeah, and before you do that, make sure you use the 'paste sprite' command on on your active sprites. Otherwise they will not copy.
