Hi, I'm new.

I'm making an RPG with an extremely basic engine: just enough to move the story. Sort of a cross between the original Pool of Radiance, Bard's Tale, and Dragon Warrior.

Anyway, I have a few canvases open, and I was wondering what the easiest way to add a static frame over the screen to hide the seems would be. I thought I might be able to use Canvas 0 for this, but I can't seem to make it work. Speaking of which, question #2 would be how do you do a custom cursor?

Thanks for any help.

assuming you mean a custom mouse cursor, use a sprite an put it on the mouse x and y coordinates

sprite 0,mouse x,mouse y,cursorImage

as for hiding the seems, you could put a sprite with a high priority in canvas 0 over any ares that you dont want to see

cheers
