I finally got my game to a presentable level. Note that this isn't finished or anything; I still plan to add money and items and possibly a 1 player mode. Please, any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Controls:
Spacebar-Select, fire, detonate shot, end turn when in "move" mode
Left/Right-Turn ship
Up/Down-Increase/decrease power when in "fire" mode
S-Hold it down for precision when changing power or turning the ship
Q-Quit

When a shot explodes due to impact with a ship, the ship gets hurt twice as much as from just the explosion alone
When a player's life goes into the red, (you start with the 10 red lifebars) his ship's max shot power drops
When in "move" mode, the turn is ended by pressing the spacebar.

No one has anything at all to say about my game? :[

In any case, I updated the game with added interface sounds, power bar arrows as a reminder that the power can be changed with the up and down keys, and changed the turning speed and power bar change to the "s" speed.

Hey, I'm sorry but I did not manage to play it, otherwise I would have been full of remarks and criticisms and compliments and tips...

I downloaded it but I could not uncompress it :-( probably it's because I have a very old expander :-( or maybe because I have a very nutty and slow modem :-(

Why is the game not running at real speed? I mean, why do you play the game turn by turn? And I'm really missing a 1 player mode with computer players!!!

It would be a lot of fun with computer players... or network play.

I LIKE the turn based play. Kind of a space version of "Pocket Tanks"

I'm trying to figure out a way to make the AI... As my game is now, the shot paths are calculated frame by frame. I wonder if it's possible to find some function of time that would give the coordinates...

Matteo, have you tried the download recently? The first file I had up on the link had the wrong file extension, so maybe that was it.
